The Challenge
We're SharePoint experts, so when NHS Highland wanted a leading content management system to administrate their intranet and website, we listened, consulted and delivered.
Crucially, we needed to greatly improve the website structure and user interface to better serve both public users and NHS staff.
The Solution
We share a popular belief that SharePoint is the number one shared technology platform in the world. We provided NHS Highland with the tools, and support they needed to operate both their external website and intranet with ease.
The external site allowed potential patients to access information about services such as hospitals, GPs, health centres, dentists and pharmacists through a directory split by region. Visitors looking for general health advice can find national and local information about staying healthy through an A-Z and search features.
Those with a direct interest in the organisation can find news and announcements from across NHS Highland, as well as key information about the four 'Community Healthy Partnerships' within the region.
The Result
The intranet and website have been well received by staff and prospective patients alike and our consultancy and experience resulted in the delivery of a manageable, professional solution, underpinned by world leading technology.
