Quality assurance is integral to Storm’s Project Management and Technical development services.

Quality assurance is integral to Storm’s Project Management and Technical development services. For Project Management Services Storm adopts the Prince 2 methodology. The approach is designed to:

  • achieve greater consistency in the quality of the work delivered to our customers
  • achieve greater efficiency in our delivery process
  • improve customer satisfaction and increase repeat business from our clients
  • manage growth more effectively by providing best practice guidelines to new employees within the three different teams

For Technical Services we adopt the Microsoft Solutions Framework 3.0 coupled with the Scrum methodology. The Scrum process allows us to integrate valuable feedback from our clients at regular intervals during application development and steers the development process.

We have set coding standards for all work produced by the development team. These standards cover basic application architecture, naming standards in both databases and code, formatting requirements and commenting / documentation requirements. In addition, each developer has their work undergo code review by the team ensuring adherence to these standards.
